Otaniemi Urban Gardening Association (Otaniemen kaupunkiviljely-yhdistys ry) runs the communal garden. It is governed by a board chosen of gardeners, selected at association’s Autumn meeting. The board handles most of the activities happening at the urban garden, including assigning plots to applicants. The association works in a close collaboration with the student union AYY and Aalto University. Rules for the association can be found below.
